GARDENING/LANDSCAPING TOOLS – with 5 acres to groom we need the tools to do it with. Yard & manure rakes, clippers for shrubs, and tree-trimming gear. Yard bags to put clippings in. Weed eater (gas powered)! Gift Cards from Home Depot or Target!
PAPER GOODS/CLEANING SUPPLIES – the interiors of both the office and the new tack room are all done, so now we need cleaning supplies to keep them looking ‘new’. Toilet bowl cleaner, glass cleaner, lots of paper towels, toilet paper (individual wrapping), Kleenex, and hand soap (Soft-soap Hand Soap, 800ml containers). Lysol spray disinfectant for keeping our safety helmets sanitized. We sure could use a Dust buster or small hand vacuum for those little clean ups. A new standard size vacuum for the office would help keep the rugs a lot cleaner. Gift Cards from Wal Mart or Target!
OFFICE SUPPLIES – white all-purpose paper that can be used for the copier and our printers. Bright colored paper for our flyers & newsletters, Card Stock colored paper, paper clips, scotch tape, staples, pencils, pens, & dry erase marker. “Post-its” all sizes. Light bulbs (frosted & clear). We are also expanding our offices, so filing cabinets and plastic storage containers would be most useful. Gift Cards from Office Max!
FOR OUR VOLUNTEERS – coffee, hot cocoa mixes, apple cider mix, lemonade mix. Plastic spoons, coffee stirrers, forks, knives, 8 or 10oz hot/cold cups. Gift Cards from Albertson’s or Bashas!
FOR OUR RIDERS – horseback riding boots, new or gently used in mens' (10N to 14W) ladies' (5N to 10W) and youth/child sizes. Pull on rounded-toe ropers, zip-up paddock boots or jodpurs, lacers and lace-up paddock boots are ideal and greatly appreciated. These are all just above the ankle or up to mid-calf.
FOR OUR HORSES – shavings for bedding, fly spray, fly traps.
We do an annual volunteer/rider recognition picnic and have a January show for our riders to participate in. During these events we are in need of tables, chairs, kitchen utensils, serving platters, storage containers, and ice chests for drinks. We also could use a warming/toaster oven, and another microwave. These items would just make our events run much smoother.
