Meet Lauren. Lauren has grown up with an appreciation of horses, growing up in rural Virginia surrounded by farms and acreages. She started volunteering as a sidewalker in the summer of 2022 and recognized the power and influence of the bond between horses and humans. Lauren recently graduated with a Bachelor's from Utah State University in May 2024 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Equine-Human Science, where her favorite classes were spent with the school herd, training them as well as teaching several adaptive riding lessons. Lauren is excited to be involved with Horses Help and wants to make sure that many people are aware of the good that comes from interacting with horses.
