As we reflect on the first two sessions for the participants of our 37th ride year, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributes to the success of Horses Help. From our dedicated staff and volunteers to our generous supporters and board members, each of you plays a vital role in ensuring we fulfill our mission of improving lives through a unique collaboration of horses and people. This year marks 37 years of Horses Help serving our community, and we continue to grow and evolve. Together, we are strengthening our programs, welcoming new faces to our team, and expanding opportunities for our participants. Looking ahead, we’re excited to celebrate this legacy while building a future filled with promise and possibility. As the holiday season approaches, I wish you and your loved ones joy, peace, and time to cherish what matters most. May this season of giving remind us of the power of community and the impact we can make together. Thank you for being an integral part of this journey. Your commitment and passion inspire us all. Hello Horses Help Nation, I want to wish everyone a joyous holiday season! It’s been an amazing 2024, and our newly growing team is looking forward to an exciting 2025! As we prepare for much-needed holiday time with family and friends, remember to extend your heart to those who need your leadership and support. Keep an eye out for some exciting news from the Horses Help campus! A special shout-out to our families and our amazing volunteers who give tirelessly of their time and talent. Bless our sponsors and donors who continue to support the mission, and thank you to our board of directors who provide vital leadership for our vision moving forward. Christmas Comes Early To Horses Help! This holiday season, we’re thrilled to announce a very special gift to our Horses Help family! We’ve welcomed seven magnificent minis into our programs, thanks to the generosity of Jesse at Happy Hooves. From one HH to another, it was meant to be! As Jesse relocates out of state, he graciously gifted his established mini herd to help facilitate growth to our programs. A heartfelt thank you to Jesse for his incredible kindness and support! Our new pint-sized team members—Coco, Marshmallow, Black Galaxy, Snickers, Roxy, Jasmyn, and Jitterbug are already making their mark! They’ll be joining us in everything from Equine Assisted Learning to Adaptive Horsemanship and offsite visits. These minis will help teach valuable lessons in herd (family) dynamics, the beauty of diversity, and finding joy in the little things! Stay tuned for upcoming opportunities to meet these lovable miniature horses & donkeys. Volunteer Corner
This quarter has been a busy one for volunteers! Barn Bash took all hands on deck and we sure were thankful for the help. We had a whopping 88 volunteers on our day-of-event roster, but I know we had plenty more volunteers that went into making this great evening happen! After we recovered from the Barn Bash, we dove right into Cardinals Games and Art and Wine Festivals. We have had an amazing volunteer base for these fantastic events and can't wait to continue the fun! As we wrap up this quarter here are some fun opportunities coming up: the Fiesta Bowl, Cave Creek Art, and Wine Festival. Want some things to look forward to in Q1 of 2025?! Look no further, we have The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, Supercross, Monster Jam, AND MORE! Happy Holidays to everyone, and thank you again for your time and support! Marlee
